Closing Tag doenst work

Hi,
i have some trouble with the closing tag. i seems that it doesnt work. when i delete the tag, nothing changed. so whats the case?

i want the user to enter a different billing adress, if it is different.
inside the fields grop there a several div container for styling.
like:
[group condition checkbox]
[group location clear_on_hide]
<div>Formfield</div>
<div>Formfield2</div>
<div>Formfield3</div>
<div>Formfield4</div>
[/group]
<div>Formfield5</div>
<div>Formfield6</div>
<div>Formfield7</div>
<div>Formfield8</div>
[submit]

as long as the group condition is “off” the whole form is hidden, even formfield 5 to 8.
if selected, the whole form is shown.

any ideas?
