circulation type

1. Some of our books can only be borrowed and read in the library. I want to know how I can set the circulation type so that they can’t be checked out at the circulation counter.

2. Or is it possible to set the loan period to be zero?

3. How can i increase the number of characters allowed in the circulation type?

4. Is there anyway I can set an notification to the librarian when
– someone has overdue books
– someone has held a book
