    I’d like to change the download icon to something different (better match my theme). Not sure how to go about this.

    Hi,
    You would have to make a copy of the plugin, rename it, change the icons, zip it up and upload to your WP install. You would also have to uninstall my plugin to avoid conflicts with the function names.
