    Hello,

    With version 3.5.0 some of the customers are experiencing GENERIC_DECLINE as of new in production mode for SQUARE. Once I reverted back to previous versions issues were resolved.

    Please provide a fix regarding this issue.

    In general payment declines are generic, the financial institution is able to provide you or your customers with more details about why the transaction did not go through.

    More details: Square payment API errors GENERIC_DECLINE or card_declined

    As a first step, you can inform your customer to reach out to their bank or card issuer company, so that they can get more information about the transaction result.

    If you would like us to investigate further, please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
