All slideshow pages. Using wppa+ as a block insert (I think – i insert a wppa+ gallery) and have gone through all the controls but cannot figure out how to put a short descriptor (i.e. caption) under each photo. None of the tags seem to work or I just can’t figure it out. Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve gone through all the ‘settings’ that I can find to no avail. It’s been a while and i’m just trying to update to a new site look and feel. Please advise. Thanks

Use “slide” rather than “slydeonlyf” in the shortcode.
Select in the Photo ALbums -> Settings -> Slideshow -> I -> Items 17 and 20 to see name and description

Well isn’t that fabulous… Thanks. Didn’t know about those ‘shortcodes’ …that’s a huge help. Now stuff works! Is there more to formatting the output to an acceptable size box etc..? Now i’m showing too much stuff…i’ll have to trim the options down. Formatting it better would be nice. Thanks for the direction. Much appreciated.

There’s an interesting option 4 Fe Type – frontend editor shortcode generator output type….is there somewhere that explains this better? Must be in some manual somewhere…. looks useful… but I’m a bit reserved on destroying what’s working somewhat better at this point…. Says the following:If you want to use the shortcode generator in frontend tinymce editors, select if you want the shortcode or the html to be entered in the post
Select ‘html’ if the inserted shortcode not is converted to the photo
The default for this setting is: -none-

This might be a bit over my ability at this point….

option 4 Fe Type refers to the single photo shortcode [photo …] only. If you have no other plugin that may support this type of shortcode set it to shortcode. Otherwise, to avoid conflicts, there is the option to put the html code.
If you never use single images from wppa, leave it to none
