• Hello,

    I set medium font size of the them to 16 px and disabled fluid font.
    Still, when I view site on mobile iPhone landscape orientation, fonts are huge compared to font in portrait orientation.

    Why is that and how to disable this behavior ?

    Best regards

  • Hey there @brakkar, thanks for reaching out!

    Can you share where you’ve set 16 px – is it a setting for the whole site for headings or paragraphs, or a setting for just one page? Does this issue happen on one page, or all pages on your site? Any additional details, screenshots or examples would be really helpful for understanding the issue. Thanks!

    Hello,

    i’ve set this for the whole site, in “typography / font size presets.”
    It does this on all pages.

    I can send you private link for you to check if possibme.

    Hi! In mobile landscape mode, the screen height is reduced compared to portrait mode. Font sizes adjust to maintain readability in the compressed space.

    If you’d like the font size to be the same across all orientations, try and add this CSS code in Appearance > Editor > Styles settings > 3 dots > “Additional CSS” following this guide.

    @media (orientation: landscape) {
    body {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    }
    }

    @media (orientation: portrait) {
    body {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    }
    }

    After adding the CSS, click Save, then clear your mobile browser cache and check your site again. πŸ™‚

    Hello,

    yes I know why the font resizes. But there is a specific setting for this: the fluid size setting. If this is disabled, font should not resize.

    Also it doesn’t just apply to the “medium” font size, but all presets ‘S, L, XL…..”.

    Thank you for your code, but it doesn’t fix the issue. What is strange, is that some text on same page is resized when changing device orientation to landscape mode, some is not.
