Can’t login after reset | WordPress.org

Hi,
I have a WP staging site setup with siteground.
After a reset, I cannot loging. I have made sure all updates where done and even made sure Elementor was working.

I tried my admin email and user name, I’ve tried doing this about 5 different times now (detlting staging and starting again) and it seems to delete the admin email everytime.

I tried forget password too and says it doesn’t exist. I made sure all my details where correct before reset, and I still cannot log back into my staging site.

WordPress Version 6.3.1

I’ve read several related posts, but need the actual solution.

Any ideas?

In the past this usually happened when one of the plugins used a deactivation file that for some reason caused an error when WP Reset attempted to delete it, breaking the reset process before the admin user could be recreated.

You can try manually deleting all plugins before resetting the website.

Thank you! That has fixed it, I deleted nearly all the plugins and it worked!
I suggest maybe having that as a message somewhere on the main page mentioning this.
