• Hi, I’ve been searching for a long time to find out how to apply a gradient to a container background, but I can’t find it in the new 2.x interface. Where has “use gradient” been moved to?

    Hi there.

In the block editor on the right panel, click the styles tab and scroll down to find the BACKGROUNDS tab. You can insert a gradient from the BACKGROUND TYPE dropdown.

Hi @quantum_leap perfect, I found it. Thank you! I like version 2.x, although I feel that in 1.x everything was within easy reach. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

    Thanks again.

Yeah, I agree with you. A bit of a learning curve but extremely powerful! Mind you, there is also a search functionality in the block settings where you can search for the option you want and it updates the UI automatically to show the settings your have searched for. Try it!
