Under WooCommerce – Settings – Payments – PayPal (manage), you will find the Advanced Card Processing tab. You have to click into the Manage page.
If you are using the new UI, it will appear under Payment Methods.
Also, we would like to request for the full system status report. Please follow these steps to share your system status report with us:
- Navigate to the
WooCommerce / Status section in your site’s admin panel.
- Click on the
Get system report button and then click Copy for support.
- Paste the report into our PrivateBin.
- After uploading, please share the link here so we can review the details thoroughly.

We are having the same issue and received a notice that Advanced Credit Card Processing would no longer be supported in the classic checkout. We really hope that’s not true because there are many legacy systems in place with custom modifications that rely on the classic checkout. Please reverse this decision.
FWIW, when we updated to the new UI, the issue seems to have gone away for now and the classic checkout DOES work with advanced processing, which also highlights the fact that this decision was not made for purely technical reasons.

There seems to be some confusion, and we want to clarify that Advanced Credit and Debit Card payments are not being removed or deprecated, including for merchants using the classic checkout flow.

Hi @inpsydekrystian that’s great to hear. But then can you please explain the following message:
Info: The Checkout page of your store currently uses a classic checkout layout or a custom checkout widget. Advanced Card Processing supports the new Checkout block which improves conversion rates. See this page for instructions on how to upgrade to the new Checkout layout.
The message clearly indicates that Advanced Card Processing is not supported in classic checkout layout and it was in fact not working for us until we switched to the new UI, and then for some reason, ACP started working again.

The message does not mean that ACP is not supported, it is informing you that you have an option to use Block Checkout for better conversion rates.
The ACP should still work regardless of using the old UI or the new UI – perhaps resaving the settings worked for you. Since you did not share the system status report with us, can you let us know if your issue is now resolved?

To me the message seems confusing and implies that Checkout block is required for ACP so thanks for the clarification.
Yes, the technical issue is resolved and we are using ACP with classic checkout, though it remains unclear if that’s because we switched to the new UI (since we can’t switch back), re-saved, or rolled back Woo & Paypal Payments (and then updated again).
