Could you go to Settings > General in your dashboard and make sure that your URL settings are correct? Although I can access your site without using www (http://eatdrinkri.com/), it appears that you can’t or couldn’t when you created this thread.

Once you’ve done that, try to go to Plugins > Add New in your dashboard, search for the Jetpack plugin there, and install it. Once you’ve activated it you should be able to connect it to WordPress.com.

Let me know how it goes.

I continued to work on the problem and it appears the conflict is with the Yoast SEO plugin. When I deactivate that, Jetpack connects without a problem, I can see the dashboard, settings, etc. When I active Yoast, any of the Jetpack links go to a not found page.

That’s odd. The 2 plugins usually work well together; I just installed it on a test site of mine and couldn’t reproduce the issue.

Could you go to Settings > Permalinks after activating Yoast SEO, and save your settings again? Let me know if it helps.

Resaving Permalinks setting didn’t change anything.

Do you use a Yoast SEO feature that may remove parts of an URL, or redirect some of the URLs? Could you go to SEO > Advanced > Permalinks in your dashboard, and check that the “Redirect ugly URLs to clean permalinks.” is disabled?

That is disabled, I never had it enabled, so that’s not the problem. Nothing else is set to change URL’s.

At this point, I’d like to run more tests with you on your site to try to find out more about the problem. Would you mind contacting us via this form and mention this thread?

    Thanks!

    i have the same issue

+1 on this. I just installed Jetpack and cannot connect with the exact same symptoms. Was this ever resolved?
