Hi @projectmuzzle,
This plugin will work just fine with Polylang. As long as you have a language switcher on your site the timeline should update to the proper language. There is polylang support built into the plugin so the built-in cache clears and the languages update when users switch languages on the site.
There is the language switcher, yes. But there is only one input in Timeline Express for the ‘announcement’s content. Where can I input the alternative language version?
You’ll need to enable polylang on the custom post type, in the polylang settings page.
See the following polylang documentation:
https://polylang.pro/doc/multilingual-custom-post-types-and-taxonomies/
If you don’t see the Announcements listed there you will want to head into the Timeline Express settings page and set the ‘Exclude Announcements from Site Searches’ setting to ‘False’ and re-check. Once you’ve enabled polylang support on the announcements you can re-set ‘Exclude Announcements from Site Searches’ to true (or whatever you would like).
Okay. I have set ‘Exclude Announcements from Site Searches’ to False and saved settings — but Announcements (or anything similarly named) shows up under Polylang Custom Post types.
Cleared the Timeline Express Cache, and the WP cache. Have tried multiple times — so why isn’t Announcements listed under the Polylang Custom Post Type?
I just confirmed that I am seeing the post type listed in the polylang settings:

You will also want to confirm that the read more links are visible.
Okay, it was not showing because the read more links were not visible. I changed that setting and have been able to get it working. Thank you for all of your help!
