    Hi team,

I’m currently running a free online course using the Sensei LMS plugin. My setup doesn’t involve any paid features for the course itself, nor are there any buying options for students within the Sensei course content.

My goal is to reduce the load on my hosting server. I’ve noticed that users can register directly via the native WordPress registration page (website.com/wp-login.php?action=register) and access their profiles through website.com/wp-admin/profile.php.

Given this, I’m wondering if it’s safe to uninstall or disable the WooCommerce plugin without negatively impacting my Sensei courses or the ability for users to access them?

Since the course is free and there are no e-commerce transactions, is WooCommerce truly essential for Sensei’s core functionality in this specific scenario? I want to ensure my Sensei courses remain fully accessible and functional for my registered users.

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @mmiixx

Yes, it’s totally fine to deactivate/uninstall WooCommerce if you’re not using any of its features. Sensei LMS works just fine without WooCommerce if you’re only offering free courses.

    Hope that helps!
