At the moment, the gallery doesn’t support self-hosted videos (like MP4 files stored on your own server). Currently, it supports videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, and about 14 other major video platforms.
That said, we’re already working on a new video player module that will include support for self-hosted videos, including MP4 and other popular formats. This feature is planned for one of the upcoming releases and will make it possible to create fully local video galleries without relying on external hosts.
If you’d like, we can notify you once self-hosted video support becomes available, it’s one of the most requested features, and we’re excited to bring it soon!
