I’m fetching data through the API like this:

    fetch(‘/wp-json/wordpress-popular-posts/v1/popular-posts?limit=5&range=last7days

Should the cache settings in the plugin interface on the dashboard also apply to this? Like that results should be cached for X hours etc.?

    Hey @kspr,

If you’re using the Data Caching functionality then the answer is yes, the plugin is caching the endpoint’s query results as instructed. If you need live data then you’ll need to disable that feature.

Hey @hcabrera, thanks for the reply.

I disabled it, but still it tends to cache the results.. the site is fighting.dk

    Hey @kspr,

Something else is caching your results then, not WPP. Elementor Pro itself maybe? Another plugin? You’ll need to do some site troubleshooting to find out what’s caching your popular posts list.

Yeah ok there is another cache plugin, I think I’ve set it up so that it should not cache this, but I’ll try to disable it completely, thanks!
