Caching Breaks Google Web Stories (?)

    I’m using Swift Performance Lite 2.1.5 for caching.
    I’m using Google Stories 1.4.0
    I’m on WordPress 5.6

    Web stories work beautifully when caching is deactivated.
    Web stories display as unformatted text only when caching is activated.

    Swift does have separate options for lazy loading scripts and excluding scripts.
    I’ve tried every combination of these settings to no avail.

    What might be behind the issue I am experiencing?
