Cache Crawler and Ezoic

    Hello Litespeeders,
    I’m trying to get Ezoic and Litespeed to work, I am fully aware of the official incompatibility between them.

    My current setup is LSC + Quic CDN with Ezoic integrated with the plugin. So I do NOT use Ezoic CDN as many other users here on the forum. This setup seems to work fine for me so far; pages, menu, Ads are all working as intended.

    However, the issue I came across was regarding the cache crawler feature. I enabled the crawler on a test site of mine that runs Ezoic too. And after a few days, I noticed that the traffic reported to Ezoic was decreasing, and Ads were no longer present on some pages. After a few days of cache purges, I came to the conclusion that it was the crawler that caused this issue. So, pages cached when visiting a page normally worked fine.

    Does anyone know why this problem presents itself this way, and can this get fixed with some type of exclusion?

    please provide the report number

    you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

    37.xx.xxx.237 is the server IP ?

    from your setting , the crawler will directly connect to the origin server IP (xx.237) , without going through ezoic proxy

    how exactly does EZ counts the statistics ?

    Yes that is the correct ip.

    How does the proxy work? I only use ezoics WordPress plugin to avoid their cdn. In my simple mind that plugin should only add a code snippet to include the js files for the ads to show up straight in the html. But im clearly not a expert in this topic.

    From my understanding after reading a few ezoic docs regarding this issue, they seems to collect data from Google Analytics. Thats why im confused on how all this works.

    Regarding the ip should i remove that from the LSC settings? Wouldnt that mess with the integration with quic cloud aswell?

    no no, please keep the server IP, this is correct setting

    perhaps you should check with EZ about how to collect data , crawler will NOT trigger the google analytics though.
