In the FAQ on the WordPress.org page for this plugin, there is the question: “Do you automatically clean up the cache upon website changes?” If this is enabled, how does it affect the caching of changed website paged in the Cloudflare account that is connected to the site? I notice that, with this option enabled in Super Page Cache, it still takes something more than ten minutes for my changes to be reflected on the public site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ln-cwm,

When “Automatically purge cache on website changes” is enabled, the plugin sends a command to Cloudflare to delete the old version of the page. Once purged, Cloudflare will fetch and cache the new version the very next time the page is requested (either by a visitor or the preloader).

If you are seeing a consistent 10-minute delay, it is usually due to one of two things:

    1. Browser Caching: Even if Cloudflare has the new version, your browser may be storing the old version locally. Try checking the site in Incognito mode; if the change appears there immediately, you may need to lower your “Browser Cache-Control max-age” in the plugin settings so your computer checks Cloudflare more frequently for updates.
    2. Server-Level Cache: If your web host has its own caching (like Varnish or Nginx FastCGI), the plugin might purge Cloudflare, but Cloudflare might then pull the “old” version again from your host’s cache.

Let us know if you have other questions.
