That’s exactly what the “folders to optimize” setting is for on the Advanced tab. Add the folder(s) into there, and then run the Scan & Optimize from the Bulk Optimize page.

but I don’t see the path in the field after saving in the pref …is it normal ? for me it’s because my absolut path is not good:

I don’t understand where the absolut path should start ? from the provider root folder as said on the pref. notes ? that seems strange…usually it start from wp install folder ?

for me it should be so something like this ? :

    /public_html/wp-content/uploads/gallery/

    and in local:

    /wp-content/uploads/gallery

also I have plenty of subfolders in gallery…will I have to insert them too or does EWWW do the scan of subfolders automaticly ?

    Thanks !

No, those are not absolute paths. The absolute path to your WP folder is right by the textarea for your reference. If it does not keep the setting, it means you didn’t enter a valid folder.

And the scan is recursive, so no need to specify subdirectories.
