Hi, geoffbelfer.
Very strange. Just to clarify, are you saying that if you try to set an Exception date for *any* date in August, that it goes to the date previous to the one you want (i.e., you select August 15th –> August 14th gets added to the list)? I did a quick test with the dates you indicated and I was unable to replicate the bug; maybe there’s some sort of JavaScript conflict w/ another plugin?
Yes, happens to any August date i try to use (and with any year). I need to set 31 August 2015 as exception as is UK bank holiday but no can do. September 1 2015 sets correctly but 31 Aug changes to 30 Aug. After selecting Aug date from the calendar, it shows correctly in the Exception Dates List but after clicking Update it then shows the date as 1 day before.
Plugin activated are: Akismet, Auto Refresh Single Page, Insert Headers and Footers, MOJO Marketplace, Sticky Header, Timed Content, WordPress SEO, WPBakery Visual Composer, WPtouch Mobile Plugin, WooDojo and Canvas theme.
Will try disabling each plugin at a time to see if any conflict.
Can you copy/paste the rule description so I can see if I can recreate it here (maybe a timezone issue)?
copy of effected rule:
Show the content on 05/21/2015 @ 09:00 until 05/21/2015 @ 10:30. Repeat this action every week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This rule will be active until May 20th, 2016. This rule will be inactive on the following dates: August 30, 2015, August 31, 2015, December 25, 2015, December 28, 2015, January 1, 2016. All times are in the Europe/London timezone.
Aug 31 date is incorrectly assigned to 30th (31st was selected from calendar), and Sep 1 selected from the calendar is assigned to 31st Aug!!!
Below is pasted “show projected time/dates” for this rule which actually shows the correct dates when this rule should display the content i.e.Sep 1st is not going to display.
Friday, August 28th, 2015, 9:00 AM BST Friday, August 28th, 2015, 10:30 AM BST
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015, 9:00 AM BST Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015, 10:30 AM BST
Thanks.
Still can’t replicate the bug here. At this point, I’d try disabling all plugins except for Timed Content and see if you can get the rule displaying the right settings; then, if that works, enable one plugin at a time and re-edit your rule after each enabling.
FWIW, if Show Projected Time/Dates shows the correct dates/times, then your rule should work as intended (the same functions are used on both the front-facing and admin sides of your site to determine when to show or hide something).
Tried disabling all other plugins but still same problem. On testing with other months they also have this same problem now. Tried with different city/locations but still same problem. Tried with day, week, month setting for repeating but still same problem.
Tried using a new WampServer installation on local PC to do a test (our actual live site is via a hosting company) + installing Timed Content plug and this also has same bug for Aug. Other months tried were ok.
If the Show Projected Time/Dates is in fact showing the correct info then will leave as is and double check during these dates to see if working as intended.
