I had trouble with this also. The trick is to check if your (hide theme menu is selected) using css. It’s located under the settings section of the plugin. I deleted it and my desktop menu finally displayed.
You may also need to check that its targeting/activating the correct menu.
Thanks Simon.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it working and with it having broken over 100 websites, I mass-reverted them to an earlier version until we can swap it out.
I have no problem with developers charging for their work but it is not OK to move functionality from free to paid, effectively immediately breaking every site with that previously working version on.
Hello Benweston88,
I understand your frustration, sorry about the experience you are having. We recently did a major re-factor of the code to comply with recommended WordPress standards. As a part this exercise we had to remove 3.x code & UI from the latest version of plugin.
Just to re-imphasis – We have not removed ANY free features and put them behind a paywall, this confusion is arising from the fact that you are now seeing the new v4.x UI (which was infact released almost a year ago).
All your existing functionalities & features are still intact, however you may need to explore the UI to find the relevant option as we have moved things around to make the plugin modern & easy to use. Still, if you find any feature was free but now its removed or has been moved to paid plugin, let me know I will check with the team and revert back quickly.
