We are in this issue now, we just tested that everything is working fine in multisites.
The product description is displayed and FAQs are also displayed. Please look at the screenshot

we upgraded from an existing single site to multi when the problem occurred, so no virgin install there. Deactivating xplainer solved the issue initially but then we would lose all FAQ. Now after we completely removed xplainer, deactivated all plugins and re-installed xplainer it is working on our multi-site.
