Hi @gdegonzajr,
Thanks for taking the time to share what you encountered after updating to version 10.5.1. I can see how having the credit card field disappear at checkout right after an update would interrupt the purchasing flow, especially on live ecommerce sites.
Just to clarify things a bit further, after rolling back the plugin, does the checkout return to normal and allow customers to enter their credit card details again? Confirming this will help determine whether the behavior is tied specifically to the 10.5.1 update.
If possible, also let us know the version you rolled back to and whether you are using the Classic checkout or the Checkout block. That information will help us look into this more closely.
standard woo commerce checkout, rolled back to previous version. Running divi theme and a few other woo plugins. Upon rollback card fields work as normal.
Hi @gdegonzajr,
Thanks for the update and for confirming that rolling back to the previous version restored the credit card fields at checkout. Your feedback is really helpful and it gives us a clearer picture of what is happening on your site.
If possible, could you create a staging site where this can be tested further? This would allow us to troubleshoot safely without affecting your live store. Since the issue appears only after updating and you are using the Divi theme along with other WooCommerce plugins, there is a possibility that a plugin or theme conflict is preventing the Stripe card fields from rendering correctly.
On the staging site, you could try updating to version 10.5.1 again and temporarily deactivate other plugins or switch to a default theme like Storefront to see if the card fields return. This guide can help with creating and testing on a staging environment: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
Let us know how it goes on the staging site and we will be happy to continue troubleshooting with you.
Hi @gdegonzajr, could you please share additional details with us as to how checkout was not working for you, as we are striving to prevent any and all breakages during upgrades. To help with that, please share as many details with us as you can so we can expand our regression testing to make sure we’re covering more situations across all merchants.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing these additional details I really appreciate you taking the time to investigate and explain what you’re seeing.
I understand that the issue has affected at least two of your customers on mobile devices where the card fields were not visible, which understandably led you to temporarily downgrade to version 10.5.0. Thanks as well for confirming that you’re using the Blocksy theme and not Divi.
Since you’re able to see the card fields correctly on your own mobile device and within a mobile emulator, this does suggest the behavior may be device-specific or browser-specific, rather than a general theme or plugin conflict.
To help us narrow this down further, could you please ask the affected users (if possible) to share:
- Their device model
- Operating system version (iOS / Android)
- Browser name and version
- Whether they have any content blockers, ad blockers, or privacy browsers enabled
Once we have this information, we can investigate further and determine whether this is related to a specific mobile/browser environment.
issues on this end were experienced in chrome incognito – it would do the normal field loading for card spots and just stop with no fields appearing
