Hi @kombimedia
That was fixed in the last update. 🤔
Did you just installed the latest version on a website and getting this issue?
Thanks,
Munir
Thanks for your quick response @munirkamal
Yes, installed the latest version 1.3.0, WP is version 5.4.2.
I have also tested with all other plugins deactivated and Twenty Twenty theme activated, still get the error.
Cheers
Hi,
Yeah, this is unfortunately not fixed properly yet. We are trying to find out what exactly is causing this, and for that, we’ve also reached out to Gutenberg support via Github. It seems like some API conflict of issue, as you may understand the Gutenberg API is evolving and not 100% documented properly yet. Anyway, we will try to fix it asap.
I’ve added a sticky post in this forum about this issue and the same solution you already know.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/solution-for-the-editor-error/
But, you already got the solution. I will update you as soon as this gets resolved.
Cheers,
Munir
Having the same issue so following 🙂
Hi @garyjh28
An update is getting ready and from that, I have removed some more loadash dependencies and tweaked some stuff.
Once the next update gets released, I would request you all to first remove your browser cache using the method explained in the sticky post here. And then if the error comes again, report that to me.
Regards,
Munir
Great, thanks @munirkamal
Looking forward to the update.
Cheers
hi @kombimedia & @garyjh28
Could you please test now with the latest version and confirm me if the issue has been fixed or not?
Regards,
Munir
Hi @munirkamal
Looks good! Initial tests on two sites show now issues with breaking the editor.
Thanks a lot Munir!
Hi @kombimedia
Sounds good. Update me please if the issue arises again.
Regards,
Munir
