Blog designer pro projects date order issue

I can’t get the post summaries to display in descending date order. I’ve used Published Date Descending and Last Modified Date Descending but the oldest post always displays first. I’m using Projects and not Posts since this is a special blog series for a specific topic. I tried switching the setting to Ascending but it makes no difference. Oddly enough I bought blog designer pro about a month ago and put it on a different site bought am having no problems with it. The version I bought for the nylaw.net is a different version because it has no “default” setting.

I’ve updated the plugins and the theme but still have the problem.
