    Thanks for this plugin.

I have noticed when activating the plugin on a new site it creates an empty robots.txt file in the root directory, which overrides dynamic robots.txt files served from WordPress and then needs to be manually deleted. Would it be possible for this feature to be removed?

    Hi,

Thank you for using our plugin and for bringing this to our attention.

You’re correct — the plugin currently generates a robots.txt file to help prevent indexing of temporary import/export files for privacy and security reasons. However, we understand this may interfere with setups using WordPress’s dynamic robots.txt.

We’re already working on making this behavior optional with a dedicated setting in the next update.

In the meantime, if you’d like assistance or have specific requirements, feel free to contact us directly at [email protected] — our team will be happy to guide you.

    Best regards,
    VJInfotech Support Team
