Hi @mauri01,
Thanks for reaching out.
Bit Form displays the uploaded file through file input fields by creating a post, and the link to that post includes the file ID in a form parameter. However, the link in the sitemap XML does not include the form parameter, which causes the “Oops! That page can’t be found” message when visited.
You can resolve this by removing the Bit Form link from the sitemap XML file.
Thank you for the feedback, Abdullah Al Mamu.
Unfortunately, auto-generated sitemaps don’t allow for direct editing. Normally, when a page or post is created through standard methods, you can set it to “no index.”
However, in this case, that’s not possible because your plugin references only the ID without generating an actual page or post.
This creates a bit of a challenge. In such situations, it’s usually better to create a proper post or page for it — especially if there’s no other way to manage or exclude it effectively.
@mauri01
You can edit the sitemap directly from your WordPress file manager or on your server.
If you need guidance on locating and modifying the sitemap file, please submit a support ticket using the following URL:

Thank you for using Bit Form!
Dear Abdullah Al Mamun,
Using autogenerated sitemaps — like those created by SEO plugins — is likely to result in issues like this. Since the sitemap is generated dynamically, there’s no actual file in the root directory to edit. Even if you could access it, it would update itself again automatically, so manual changes wouldn’t make sense.
I recommend testing this with Screaming Frog. Anyone using your plugin is likely experiencing the same issue: it references pages that don’t exist, leading to “Not Found” errors. This isn’t ideal from a technical SEO standpoint, especially if you’re aiming for a clean, optimized WordPress setup.
Dear @mauri01 ,
We understand your concern, and we appreciate your detailed feedback. I’ve forwarded this issue to our development team, and they’ve added it to their improvement plan.
If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reply to this ticket, and we’ll be happy to help.
Thank you!
