Basic Question: can i use function wp_mail()?

Hi Yehuda, sorry, how do i send mail via php with your plugin? It seems this fundamental question isn’t addressed in the documentation anywhere.

Does your plugin basically filter the function wp_mail()? Or do i use another function?

I’m all authenticated with sendgrid and my test email went out ok, but calling wp_mail from a template function is not producing any result and nothing in the log.
