backround slideshow still appearing

    I removed my slideshow and added a color background but one of my images from my slide show still appear when i am having over “empty” background space. I have tried uninstalling all plug-ins except Elementor. I also tried going back in revisions but when i make an edit it still remains.

    Firstly, do you have any backups? Just for precaution, do one immediately.

    Sencondly, is your WordPress site updated to latest version? Themes and plugins too?

    I did not have any backups, but i will get one now thanks. I have everything up to date as well.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for being so patient.

    I suggest following this method one by one by on focusing on method 2:

    Method 1: This can easily be fixed by going to WP admin > Elementor > Tools > Clear Files & Data

    Method 2: Please make sure that you clear all forms of cache including your browser cache, your WP cache (your WP caching plugin if you have one), and your server cache (In this case, you can contact your hosting provider for help to clear the server cache).

    Method 3: Clear Browser cache or check the site in a private/incognito window.
