Elementor’s background-slide-show stops on desktop (it works on mobile). Rolling back the version from 3.33.x to 3.32.5 will make it works. It transitions correctly from the first image to the second, but then stops after that. The same applies to image-carousel.
I have prepared environments that reproduce the phenomenon.
Elementor Editor V3.32and V3.33 include several Accessibility Enhancements regarding respecting the visitor’s preferences about Reduced Motion. (See articles about V3.32 and V3.33)
When this setting is enabled in your Operating System’s > Accessibility Settings (often also known as Animation Effects), Elementor Entrance Animations, Motion Effects, and Transitions will not run, following the best practices for accessibility. Could you please try deactivating Reduced Motion and check again?
Thank you so much for sharing this information with us, we truly appreciate you taking the time to update us.
I’m glad to hear that enabling the Animation Effects setting in Windows 11 resolved both the background slideshow and image carousel issues in Elementor 3.33.x.
Since the issue has now been successfully resolved, we’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If anything else comes up, please feel free to reach out anytime. We’re always happy to help!
