• I’m trying to migrate my wordpress site to a different wordpress site. The back up seems to run properly.

The back up link doesn’t work when i go to the new location

Downloading the file produces an error that says the file is not found

My hosting platform said this “it appears that the backups by Backup Migrations are
being created with incorrect permissions, as those were initially created
with permission 400, which would indeed prevent you from downloading it.
I’ve adjusted the permission of the existing backup to 644, so that you
can download it directly from the plugin interface. Please test it again.
Regarding the download link, I can confirm that the plugin has an
.htaccess in place, which prevents access to the files. This is
implemented as a protection to ensure that no unauthorized users can
    download your files.”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @cwilson1997 ,

Thank you for all the information, provided, however we will need some more to pinpoint the source of the issue.

Please provide a debug log from:
    1. Source site (where the backup is created)
    2. Destination site (where you tried to restore the backup, i.e. migrate)

Please navigate to the plugin section Troubleshooting > Check advanced options and click on the button:
Share debug info with BackupBliss team

And here’s a screenshot that shows where to get it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h76LMlMleF90JbsyaR2_PU8PZDAUMWsG/view?usp=sharing

Please paste the debug codes in your reply.

    Kind regards

    source site is chaptercamp.intervarsitytraining.org

    Destination site is chaptercampcedarbay.intervarsitytraining.org

I’m desiring to copy and paste the content – i will use both sites – but don’t want to rebuild the site

i have had success in the past doing this… but can’t get it to work now

@cwilson1997 sorry, we can only help you with the debug logs that contain the necessary information to pinpoint the problem, and create a solution.

Please provide both debug logs and post debug log codes (just the codes, not the whole log, looks like this: BMI-cikXZJfZ-29303) in your reply so that we can help you.

    Kind regards
