Author Changes When Editing

So the issue is this. I manage 7 multi-author sites. When I go to edit a post by one of the authors, the post will sometimes switch to me. It doesn’t happen 100% of the time only sumetimes. It happens in the saving process and there are many cases I won’t realize this has happened untill much later. The issue has been going on for months and on all 7 sites.
Any help would be apreciated

I have this exact same issue – also running a site with multiple authors – and after making some updates to existing posts, from time to time it happens that the original author is changed to me.
After some testing I was able to reproduce the behaviour:
It only happens if from within the posts I am making changes to one of the included, synchronized ‘reusable blocks’. It does not happen if I change some of the regular content.
Any ideas how to prevent this from happening? It’s quite annoying because I have to double-check after making changes, that the author is still intact.
