Arbitrarily added redirects

    Hi Team,

    We’ve noticed something odd with some of the redirects. We’re using WooCommerce to power an ecommerce solution for one of our clients, and set the redirects to the base URL, so in most cases the URL has been set to something along the lines of https://domain/post_name/. Redirects from /product/post_name/ to /post_name/ have been added as expected, but we’ve noticed that the site has been adding redirects that don’t make sense, for instance redirecting from one active product to another that is completely irrelevant.

    We haven’t been able to determine where these redirects have come from, and they don’t appear to be related to the theme or any of the plugins. Both WordPress and Permalinks Customizer are up to date and appear to be functioning normally in all other aspects.

    Please let us know if you’re aware of any issues or plugin that may be causing conflicts.

    Same here. When editing / updating a product, other products, unrelated, get redirected to this product… A bit of a nightmare, because even selling a product, I guess by editing its sotck, create those random redirects.

    Thanks for reaching to us and raising this issue…! Sorry for delaying in the response. I have missed some email of WordPress.

    I am looking to generate this issue while not able to do that. If you guys don’t mind so, let me create an development env for you and you guys can create this issue there so, i can fix this out.

    I am only going to Permalinks Customizer and WooCommerce plugin there. Nothing else. So, it helps me to identify the issue. Let me know your email addresses if any of you interested to help so, i’ll share my access.
