Also, please update to the current version of the plugin.
I have the same issue, but only realized this when an applicant called to tell me he was not able submit his application. I have the latest version: 2.36. I am using inline apply.
When I try apply now, the pop up form does not allow any file attachments for a cover letter or a resume.
