Analytics message and GDPR

1. The GA message was probably from a filter that’s present. Nothing to worry about. Google doesn’t use your bounce rate stats anyway. Looks like the plugin is doing its job well.

2. No personal data is being collected. Events are part of Google Analytics, I only created some extra events. No IP addresses were sent to GA. If people don’t want to be tracked by GA they should install a browser plugin. In your privacy policy you could write:

We use Google Analytics to analyze how users interact with our website so we can understand better what elements of the design are working well and which are not working so well. This allows us to improve and develop the quality of the online experience we offer all our users. This data cannot be traced back to a single person.
