Hello @winterstreet,
I’ve checked your form and now our parameters are being transmitted correctly. I see you’ve changed the settings in our plugin. I think this fixed the issue.
There are settings for post types and also “REST API Namespaces” one of those is “Cleantalk-antispam/v1 Cache Length”. Is that the one to set? Or are there other settings necessary?
Unfortunately, I don’t know what this option is in WP Engine, but since I see that our parameters are being transmitted correctly, I suggest not changing anything in WP Engine.
One other question would be why did this just start happening when it was working fine before? Once it became an issue, it appears to have marked all Gravity Forms entries as spam.
I think this is related to the cache plugin. I also see that you have the Autoptimize cache plugin. You also had non-optimal settings in our plugin. Changing the cookie and enabling our JavaScript library will allow our plugin to work correctly with caching plugins.
Did it help you?
OK thanks for checking that. As far as it just now happening, whatever plugins and settings might have affected it, we haven’t changed anything in a while. Except plugin updates. I’ll watch the spam entries for a while and see how it goes.
I actually found the same issue on a separate website that’s also hosted at WP Engine with some of the same plugins installed.
Please, mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made the wrong decision:
• Your Anti-Spam Log [ https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests ] → choose your website in the drop-down menu → there are buttons “Spam” and “Not Spam” under every record → mark records using these buttons.
The guide is here:
https://cleantalk.org/help/feedback-spam
We can give you more specific replies based on your marked requests.
Don’t forget to clear your website cache as mentioned earlier.
