    Hi there,

    I can see that on this page you have an AJAX search on the sidebar, so the full page doesn’t reload when I search for a lawyer’s name. How exactly is that implemented on the backend? What widget should I choose? Cause I can’t find how to do it.

    Thank you,

  • Hello @sixaxis !

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The left search sidebar is a theme-specific design. In all of our premium themes, you are going to have the sidebar at the left in the All listing page and the Search result page.

    To implement the instant/Ajax search option you have to navigate to Directory Listings> Settings> All listing
    Then turn on the instant search option.
    Even if you do not have the search sidebar at the left, the instant search should work.

    Kind Regards.

    I see. But what if I don’t have one of your premium themes? Is the instant search supposed to work too?

    @sixaxis
    Yes surely the instant search will work with the free theme or any other theme. The instant search is a core feature of Directorist plugin. Therefore it will work with of the theme.

    Regards.
