• Just spent an hour creating a form using the AI. Form looked great. Then after an hours work, I had a WordPress message saying “network error” and my form disappeared. Then I went back to AI, no sign of the form (so the fuckin AI was stupid enough not to save a backup as I was working WOW!!!! WOWWW!!!! are you from the 1980’s?)
Then, just to kick me in the ass harder, when I tried to use AI to create the same form, the basic form it gave me (using the SAME TITLE) was totally different to the form I started with previously, making it even harder to create the form I wanted. Why would the AI create a different starting point for the SAME DAMN FORM????
Your AI is a bucket of sh!t. Please fix it before you release it next time.

    Hi @hi99ins,

I’m sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you had with our Generate With AI feature. Losing an hour’s worth of work, especially after crafting a great form, is genuinely upsetting, and I completely understand why you’d be so disappointed. Your feedback is really important to us, and I appreciate you taking the time to share it.

I want to clarify how the AI form generation handles progress to help explain what happened and hopefully prevent it in the future. When you’re prompting the AI and making changes to your form, these changes are stored in a temporary session. This temporary session is designed to allow you to iterate and refine your form before you decide to keep it. To finalize and save the form, you need to explicitly click on the “Use this form” option. You can see what this looks like in this screenshot.

Unfortunately, if the page is refreshed, or if you exit the page before clicking “Use this form”, that temporary session is automatically deleted, and any unsaved changes are lost. It sounds like the “network error” might have caused a refresh or an interruption that led to the session being cleared, which is certainly not the experience we want you to have.

Regarding the AI generating a different form when you used what seemed like the same title, could you confirm if the exact prompt you used for the second form attempt was identical to the one you used initially? This information would be really helpful for us to investigate further.

We genuinely want to help you make the most of this feature and ensure it works smoothly for you. Would you be willing to open a support topic on our forum here? Our team would be happy to guide you further, investigate the network error you encountered, and gather more details to understand your specific situation better. We’re committed to improving the AI experience and your detailed feedback is invaluable for that.

Thanks again for reaching out, and we hope to assist you further.
