After Hitting Share Now, Multiple Posts Per Site
-
Hello,
I recently used this plugin to share a new blog post with several social media accounts. When hitting Share Now, it hangs up for quite awhile. While waiting, I decided to go see if anything was happening on Facebook and Instagram. I noticed that after 1 post was added to each, about 30 seconds later another identical post was added. This continued until there were 5 posts on each platform, at which point I clicked away from the posting page in the tool and manually cancelled the process.
Does anybody know how to get a single post to go up, without duplicates? Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere? It doesn’t seem like there would be a good reason for this to happen.
Thanks for your help!
Chris

Hello @flowmode
Thanks for reaching out.
If your dashboard is freezing or takes a lot of time to load we recommend to activate the legacy mode in your Blog2social settings. To do so, please follow the path on the left sidebar of your wordpress-backend:
– Blog2Social -> settings
– Scroll down to : “system”
– Tick the “activate legacy mode” box.
This is a global setting for your blog that can only be edited by users with admin rights. When activated, plugin contents are loaded one after another to relieve the server of your blog.Furthermore, would you be so kind to check if your blog meets the new system requirements for Blog2Social? You can check all important settings in your Blog2Social-Troubleshooting tool and with our quick checklist:
The Blog2Social-Troubleshooting Tool
Checklist for Blog2Social system requirementsWould you mind to download your results by clicking on the download symbol in the upper right corner and send us this file? This way we can take a closer look and check this for you.
However, I checked your PageSpeed and noticed that your blog takes a lot of time to process data. The performance of your blog can affect this as well . You can check the page speed of your blog here and take a closer look into more important data regarding your blog:

}Hello @flowmode,
Thanks for reaching out.
We noticed your WP_Memory_Limit is 40M.
We suggest in our system requirements a minimum of 128M.
You can define this in: wp-config.php File (in root folder of wordpress) (“WP_MEMORY_LIMIT”, “256M”); //512M (M=MEGABYTE) Minium 128M.
You can find here more information about the System requirements of installing Blog2Social .Furthermore we checked your PageSpeed and noticed that your blog takes a lot of time to process data. This may result in multiple postings in your social-media.
You can check your blogs performance with this Tool: Page Speed Insights
It provides you with additional information about your blog performance.
