• The theme adds two notification bars which you can’t hide to the top of your WP admin. Very annoying.

Better don’t release a free theme when you don’t really want to provide something for free, but instead only want to push for sales.

EDIT: Revised my rating from 1 star to 3 stars after the latest change. It’s possible to dismiss the notifications, but they will re-appear with every new session.

    Hi @nicoter,

Thanks for your review. We really appreciate your feedback. We have spent a great deal of time building, maintaining and providing support for this completely free theme. Our intention was never to annoy the user, only to provide an option to upgrade. We will push an update that allows for the notifications to be dismissed.

    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the update. I adjusted my rating.

I understand your business model, but I’m disliking the new WordPress Freemium model trend. I own 20+ premium themes, but if I’m looking for a free theme for a small site I don’t want to be harassed by annoying ads.

If every theme and plugin was doing this (in your case even 2 notifications), the admin dashboard would be paved with 10+ notifications.
