Admin top bar

I’m wondering what happened to the admin bar when in the edit post screen. It seems to be gone. However, on mobile it reappears.. This feels pretty buggy.

Should this be reported as an issue, or is there some kind of philosophy behind this that I’m missing? I’m really used to switching back and fort between the front-end and edit screen of a post, or creating a new post while in the edit screen. But both these things seems utterly impossible now.. Or is there another way to do this?
