How do you accomplish the layout functionality on this demo? https://wpportfoliodesigner.com/portfolio-live-preview/

I am refering to how it shows all images by default and if you click on Gaurmet or Restaurant it only shows those pictures.

Right now I have my post type set to porfolios. Do I have to create a new portfolio for each image I want to display and set the category for it? Is there a way to select multiple images from my media to insert into a category? I have quite a few images and creating a new portfolio for each image isn’t very efficient.

I have checked your support query following is my reply to your question.
Yes, you have to add a separate post for all your images to display it as a portfolio under one category. There only a way to set portfolios for your website.
