Added to Page Using Block – Not Appearing

I would like to use this plugin’s block feature to add random posts to my landing page (page being the key word). I’ve added the block, changed the title and number of posts I want displayed, but nothing appears on the live page. I’ve cleared caches etc. to no avail. The display is working perfectly where its placed automatically on each POST but this one forced display on my landing PAGE isn’t displaying.

Oddly, I had this exactly same issue with a competing related posts plugin. I’m interested to know if you have any thoughts on why it is not appearing.
