Add topic or reply without triggering notification?

    What actually triggers a notification?

    I ask as I would like to be able to add some posts to the forum without it triggering email notifications to our members.

    Might adding a reply via the Dashboard not trigger a notification? Or could I turn notifications off for a period while adding a reply? But how?

    Hi @bobjgarrett , creating topics and replies from the front end will always trigger notifications based on the bbpnns settings. In order to create topics/replies without triggering notifications, you can create them from the WP Admin, making sure that ‘Send Notifications’ checkbox is unchecked, or unchecking the Subscription override options in the bbpnns settings screen.
