What is the difference between your plugin and the Brevo for WooCommerce plugin? Also, after I registered a Brevo account and successfully verified the domain name, I tested it with WP Mail SMTP. However, the content of a test email led to it being deactivated, stating that it does not comply with the terms of use and anti-spam policy. Can this be restored, or do I need to register and verify the domain name again?

Hi,

The Brevo plugin for WordPress connects your site to Brevo to manage contacts, send transactional emails, and integrate signup forms.

The Brevo for WooCommerce plugin is an add-on that specifically syncs WooCommerce customer and order data with Brevo for advanced e-commerce automation and segmentation.

My domain name is on the cloudflare platform, I am now in the DNS record There are four email records, namely zoho, Mailjet, Brevo, and lark these four email records, how should I set it so that it does not overwrite the previous email send, I have installed both of your plugins, I want to send marketing-related emails using one of your orders to use your other one, the rest are through my WP Mail settings SMTP mailbox rules

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

If you’re using multiple email services (Zoho, Mailjet, Brevo, Lark), and you want to avoid conflicts between them, you need to make sure that only one plugin overrides the wp_mail() function — ideally, the one you’re using for transactional emails.

If you’re using WP Mail SMTP for transactional emails and want to use Brevo only for marketing emails (like newsletters or automation), here’s what we recommend:

1. In the Brevo plugin settings (WordPress > Brevo > Settings), disable the “Send transactional emails” option.
• This ensures Brevo doesn’t override wp_mail() and won’t conflict with WP Mail SMTP.
1. Make sure that WP Mail SMTP is set up correctly with your desired provider (Zoho or Mailjet).
2. In your DNS (on Cloudflare), make sure only the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for the active sending domains are present. You can only send from one service per domain unless you configure custom subdomains for each provider.

Let us know if you need help configuring Brevo to work only for marketing emails.

I want to use Brevo for all marketing emails – Email, SMS, Web Push, Chat, and more. Only send marketing emails, and all order-related emails should be sent through Brevo – WooCommerce Email Marketing. For all other emails, send them through the email address I have set up in wp mail smtp

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I do not recommend using two SMTP systems simultaneously on your website, as this can cause conflicts with email deliverability.

Therefore, you should disable SMTP either in WP Mail SMTP or in the Brevo plugin to have only one active SMTP configuration on your site.

By doing so, the error message you are seeing on your site should disappear.

Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance with the setup or have any other questions.

Best regards,

Alexis

Can I use Brevo settings for marketing emails via Brevo – Email, SMS, Web Push, Chat, etc., order emails via Brevo – WooCommerce email marketing, use account email via zoho settings, SMTP2GO logistics and system settings? I can only use the wp mail smtp plugin to distinguish the email content and choose the corresponding email address to send, the marketing category is sent through Brevo – Email, and the order category is sent through Brevo – WooCommerce, so how can I set it so that it does not conflict?

Hello @chengjianping,

The SMTP feature provided by the plugin is only meant for transactional mailing (Account creation and activation emails, Welcome and onboarding messages, User invitations and shares, Security and account alerts, purchase receipts and shipping notifications (WooCommerce), Password resets and two-factor authentication, Legal notices). The plugin only allows you to use the Brevo SMTP-Server. You cannot use the Brevo SMTP-Server, in order to sent out marketing mails.

If you want to send marketing mails, please use the email campaign you find in the Brevo dashboard.
More information about the campaigns you can find in: https://help.brevo.com/hc/en-us/categories/201033249-Campaigns

How can I set it up so that it does not conflict with wp mail smtp? Marketing and order-related emails are sent through your plug-in

(@alexisbienayme)

Hello,

There are two possible options:

• Either disable the “Send transactional email” option in the Brevo plugin
or
• Disable the WP Mail SMTP plugin

The “Send transactional email” option from Brevo can fully replace the WP Mail SMTP plugin, and vice versa.

Your website cannot use two SMTP systems at the same time, as this can cause conflicts. That’s why you should keep only one and disable the other.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Alexis

Will that affect the marketing emails sent from the website?

Plugin Support alexisbienayme

(@alexisbienayme)

Hi,

No, the marketing emails will be still sent through a SMTP (the one from WP Mail SMTP or the one from the Brevo plugin).

Currently, you have two SMTP, and most websites can handle only one SMTP, which is relay it is advised to disable one of them.

I remain at your disposal for any information.

Alexis

Well, there is also the user who leaves the website after adding items to the shopping cart. How can I automatically synchronize the corresponding product information and prices to the Brevo shopping cart abandoned template? Then use the order email address to send

Plugin Support shreyachawla

(@shreyachawla)

Hi,
Thank you for the clarification.

Yes, you only need to set up one SMTP on your website. This SMTP will handle all transactional emails such as account creation, password reset, and similar notifications sent directly from your website.

As for automated emails like abandoned cart reminders or order confirmations, those are triggered directly from your Brevo account and do not rely on the SMTP. So, those will continue to be sent without any issue.

If you’d like to sync your products with Brevo, please make sure to install the Brevo plugin for WooCommerce and enable the eCommerce feature in your Brevo account.

Let us know if you need help setting any of this up!

Yes, I have installed the Brevo plugin for WooCommerce. How can I automatically sync the items I added to the shopping cart to the abandoned cart template? I also want to be able to sync the product information of individual products I want to promote to the product template directly through the Brevo plugin for WooCommerce.

For further questions, I have to ask to get in touch with directly with the Brevo support or use the Brevo Help Center, since this query is not related to the plugin itself.
