However, after updating to 2.3.43 (latest) the error reappears. I have updated an d rolled back 3 times to confirm.
My plugins are as shown below https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=d3e738f139579ef8&id=D3E738F139579EF8%21879825&sff=1&authkey=!APV48kLJZGr-EEk

Hello!
I have updated the plugin.
You can try any article on this page, as they all have TOC: https://dev.digitalcitizen.ro/
Any article page just hangs for a while after which I get the 503 error.
Thanks!
PS: If you wish I can provide admin credentials via email.

Hello!
I have managed to fix the problem.
There were 2 culprits: an unessential plugin and one that needed an update – Advanced Custom Fields.
I have however found another issue, on the live webiste.
The URLs below contain paged articles. Your plugin lists headers from the second page, but the links don’t work.
The last links in the TOC are the ones in question: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvieVznxOOfTuZUPruRWZwbClQzQEQ
I have managed to fix the problem – Glad to hear it as fixed.
Regarding the other issue which you have mentioned, Can you please share the short video of the issue for reference purposes? So that we will go through it and assist you to fix the issue immediately.
This article has 2 pages: https://www.digitalcitizen.ro/review-asus-rog-strix-z790-a-gaming-wifi-d4
The last TOC link on the first page is from the second page. Clicking it does nothing.
Please see video below.
Thanks!
Can you please check once is this due to any conflict? If possible please check once by deactivating the active plugins one by one on your site for debugging purpose of the issue and let us know back if any causing the issue?
Hello!
We have 2 websites DEV and LIVE.
Here are 2 links for the respective websites:
The 503 error has remerged on the live website for the latest version of the plugin and version 1.7.1 does not link to the second page of the article.
On the test website, we just get fatal error.
Both websites are identical in terms of theme, wordpress version and plugins and we call ez-toc via shortcode.
May I provide you with login data for the dev website in order to test further?
I have deactivated all plugins and activated them one by one, except ACF, without which the theme does not work.

Hello!
We have updated the plugin to the latest version you have released today.
Everything works perfectly on the test website, however, on the live website we get error 503.
We have disabled and enabled the plugins one by one and nothing seems to do the trick, only version 1.7.1 of your plugin works on the live website.
Both websites are on the same serv, same domain, thus same configuration, same plugins. – https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AIu9ZeLoAap1e60&cid=D3E738F139579EF8&id=D3E738F139579EF8%21938591&parId=D3E738F139579EF8%21298339&o=OneUp
Here is the a 2 paged article on both websites:
https://www.digitalcitizen.ro/review-asus-proart-z790-creator-wifi/ (EZ-TOC 1.7.1)
https://dev.digitalcitizen.ro/review-huawei-watch-gt3-pro/ (EZ-TOC – latest version)
Can you please assist?
After updating to latest version 2.0.44.2 I have managed to find some errors:
