    Hi John,

    I’m getting a ton of 404s like this :

    /en-us/collections/dry-damaged-colured-hair

    I tried :

    .*hair.*

So any url with hair in its path …

    target :

    /category/beauty/

But this means any existing URLs or categories will also be affected by this rule?

As an example : /category/beauty/hair/ which will be redirected back to : /category/beauty/

Can the plugin automatically detect 404 errors like this provided example and redirect them to a target url based set by admin, based a specific keyword within that 404?

And importantly, ensure that such redirects only apply to actual 404 errors and not affect any existing, valid URLs or posts on the site?

    Hope that makes sense 🙂

I don’t know what that means. The plugin allows you to create regular expressions that can match URLs and use the matched data as part of the target. If that allows you to do what you are trying to do then great, otherwise it’s unlikely it can do something quite so specific.

    Hi John,

No worries, I’ll look into it more and maybe create one

Thanks for the swift response 🙂
