• I’m getting a problem whereby I’m able to log in to my website, and my admin id shows up on the admin bar at the top of the screen, along with plugins in need of updating, new comments, etc. However, instead I get a 404 error page instead of the Dashboard, and clicking on any of the links on the top admin bar results in 404 errors.

I have the WP-ALL-IN-ONE-SECURITY plugin installed.

I have tried disabling all plugins by blanking the active_plugins field in the _options table, via phpMyAdmin, but this produces a re-direct loop.

    I’m using the Hueman theme.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
