Custom Post Type wrmj_menu_item and taxonomy wrmj_menu_category
Drag-and-drop ordering on the admin list screen (uses menu_order)
Shortcode [wrmj_menu] with category filters, order, limit, and grouping
Settings screen to adjust defaults and display options

Installation

Upload and activate the plugin.
Create menu items and categories under the “Menus” post type.
Optionally adjust defaults in the “Menu Settings” submenu.
Insert the shortcode [wrmj_menu] into pages or posts.

FAQ

Can I control the order per category?: Yes. If you save category-specific orders (and category order) from the ordering UI or settings, those are respected on the frontend.
Where should I put translation files?: Place them under the plugin’s languages/ directory. WordPress 4.6+ loads them automatically from headers.
