Emotionally White Scarred: White Scars vs Necrons

Continuing the Jimulthuan Campaign, I, Pootle, am determined to regain full control of my home planet of Bagot Prime. This time I'm up against the Necrons led by Jhnlk (it's me, hello!).

King in the North game 3: Harlequins vs T'au

After a really fun game against Ultramarines (see batrep here), my last game of the last King in the North was against Alchemist Dave and his stunning T'au list.

King in the North game 2: Harlequins vs Ultramarines

Having lost my first game against Necrons (write-up here), my second game at this years (final) King in the North pitted my old lead Harlequins against George's beautiful Ultramarines!

King in the North game 1: Harlequins vs Necrons

It's King in the North again! And this is the last time Brapscallion is running the event (because he wants to play rather than organise, which is fair enough). I've been painting up my lead Harlequins with the express purpose of bringing something special along to this event.

Kraken recently posted about starting up a new campaign and Stylus and I (Pootle) are kicking things off, harking back to 8th edition with my Ultramarines trying to kick the Death Guard off my home planet of Bagot Prime.

Clowning around

Rogue Trader Harlequins - Warhammer 40k

This has been an absolutely amazing project: back in 1991 a friend left the hobby and gave me his box of original lead Harlequins. I've been eyeing them occasionally since getting back into the hobby but finally plucked up the courage to paint them...and (decided to try to match the original box art too.

It's been a while since Kraken and I played a game of 40k but I, Pootle, had a spare evening and threw down the gauntlet...

Sandcastle: Emperor's Children vs Alpha Legion

As promised, it's a trial run for Kas's new army. Chaos on all sides, who is the most chaotic?

Random conversion for you today; very silly but tremendous fun and I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.

NAIS-DAKKA 100: Nurgle Daemons vs Orks

It's been a while since we've published a 40k batrep on the blog, but Kraken and I (Pootle) are back to write up the story of a game we've just played: Nurgle Daemons taking on Orks.

Double Header: Black Legion & Drukhari vs Adeptus Custodes & Space Marines

I'm quite ring-rusty with Warhammer 40k at the moment - so what better way to ease back into it than a 4,000pt four-player battle in front of a camera?
