Found poetry is a type of poetry where, instead of creating an original poem, you take a non-poetic source - like a newspaper article or a grammar guide or a non-fiction book - and then change the form and perhaps the content to make it into poetry, while still retaining the original meaning. It can also be taken from other poems, but I'm guessing that would involve individual lines or words rather than whole stanzas.
